In this episode, I chat with Rowan Lytle about big bass from shore on the fly, his extensive “life list” of fly caught fish, and his quest for a world record fish (sneak peak: he really wants to catch a record tautog on the fly). Listen on Spotify or Apple Podcasts.
Catch Rowan on his blog, Connecticut Fly Angler and on Instagram.
Great interview with my grandson, Rowan. Just wish interviewer had taken time to learn correct pronunciation of our family’s name. It does not sound like “little,” being an old Celtic name with the “y” sounded as a long “i” Actually, none of the Lytles are little, so phonetically it is lye tell. Thank you!
Sorry about that! I knew someone with the same spelling of that last name who pronounced it with the short ‘i’. Just assumed and shouldn’t have. Glad you liked the episode!
